Nutrition report

Users can utilise this tool in the platform tool to:

  • Compare nutrition data for retailers' own-label products.
  • Evaluate how own-label and branded goods compare nutritionally.
  • Review the nutritional content of a whole category against a competitor.

Report Tabs

Most reports offer tabbed sections, which provide more in-depth results for a given query.

Within the Nutrition report there are the Summary and Details tabs that helps users to visualise data easily.

Summary tab

Nutrition data can be viewed by Energy or Nutritional Values. Once the preferred view is selected, you can then aggregate data by Attribute, Brand, Manufacturer or Retailer, per 100g / 100ml or per serving.

Sort by category-specific attributes

When aggregating by Attribute, select the category-specific attribute using the additional dropdown menu.

For example, in the Juices and Smoothies category, you can aggregate by sub category to compare the nutritional values of 'not from concentrate' to 'from concentrate' drinks.

Attributes will only show as an aggregate option when the lowest level of category has been selected for the report query, and where they are available.
